Olin jo pitkään etsinyt jotain vastaavanlaista konseptia: Useille päiville ulottuva, lähes keskeytymätön enemmän tai vähemmän temaattinen elokuvamaraton. Genre-elokuvan ystävänä DMP Cinema oli ja on ideana aivan loistava. DMP:n maratonit ovat muodostuneen lähes kuukausittaisiksi traditioiksi, joihin pyrin osallistumaan aina kuin mahdollista. Eikä haittaa, vaikka muutamat nimikkeet tulevat uusintakatseluun: Hyvän elokuvan voi katsoa uudestaan, parhaiden katsomiskertoja ei kannata edes laskea. English Translation: “I participated in a DMP Cinema marathon for the first time in January 2022. I had been looking for a similar concept for a long time: An almost uninterrupted, more or less thematic movie marathon spanning several days. As a lover of genre cinema, DMP Cinema was and is an absolutely brilliant idea. DMP's marathons have become almost monthly traditions, in which I try to participate whenever possible. And it doesn't matter if a few titles are rewatchable: You can watch a good movie again, you don't even need to count the viewing times of the best ones. However, DMP is not satisfied only with titles, but community is built through the chat in connection with the screenings and social media. In show chats, the main focus is on joking, but sometimes viewers present observations and analyzes of what they saw. A language of its own has been built around the DMP community, as is usually the case for a miniature community.”
